Ipinahayag ng Department of Public Works and Highways-Nueva Ecija 2 nd District Engineering Office ang pagtatapos ng Drainage Canal Project sa Brgy. Magsaysay Sur,
Cabanatuan City nito lamang ika-27 ng Agosto 2022.
Ayon kay District Engineer Elpidio Trinidad, ang proyekto ay nagkakahalaga ng Php9.6M kung saan naipatayo ang 629.00 lineal meter drainage system.
Ito ay pinondohan mula sa DPWH Basic Infrastructure Project sa General Appropriations Act of 2022.
“Magsaysay Sur is a densely populated community that often experiences flooding, but with the construction of a 629.00 lineal-meter drainage system, water stagnation will be avoided in an area that usually becomes a breeding place for insects that cause diseases such as dengue and also includes the construction of a CHB line canal with reinforced concrete pipe culverts that will help improve the barangay’s sewerage system and better maintain the cleanliness of the environment”, ani Engr. Trinidad.
Patunay lamang na ang ating gobyerno sa pangunguna ng DPWH ay patuloy sa magsasaayos ng mga daan, pasilidad at gusali upang mapabuti ang kalagayan ng bawat mamamayan.
